Neartly there
Nearly there.... my cloak has left the customs building, so hopefully it gets here on monday or tuesday. And I will be paying the nice taxman. That does get my blood up. I don't mind paying tax, but I DO mind paying tax over the postage on the package. That is the most silly, unfair tax I have ever heard of and it sets me off every time it happens. :)
Today I am going to finish my letter for the counseling add. Done many rewrites over the last couple of days and now let it stew for two days. This afternoon I will see if I want to change things or sent it out like it is. Exiting!!!!
Finished Kelley Armstrong's the summoning in record time. I love her women of the underworld series. I tried her detective novel last year but did not like that at all, so I was not sure about another new series. This is YA, but I loved it! Can't wait till the next book comes out. Hope that won't be a hardback like some of her other books. That is another pet peeve, series that go to hardback in the middle of series. Just because the author becomes more popular and they want to make more money. in the middle of a series it means you get to wait two years instead of one. I try to stay strong and not buy them. They are too expensive and take up too much space in the house. I love the Dutch system that brings them out at the same time and let's the readers chose what they like.
Started the third novel by Patricia Briggs, Iron kissed. I loved the previous two so I am looking forward to this one big time. Number four just came out and you guessed it.... hardback. So that is going to be a long wait for me for the next one. For the rest I am reading my studybooks to prepare myself for clients. And history books about the english civil war to prepare for the reenactment in April. The perfectionist in me needs to be well informed!
