The world is a scary place right now. Banks toppling left and right. And my own bank not out of the woods yet. The stockmarket crashing again, where is it going to end? As I know nothing about money it is difficult to oversee for someone like me. I guess we can only wait and hope for the best. Back to books. I am reading a very interresting book for the study and for my own pain management at the moment. In dutch it is called, de pijn de baas, by Frits Winter. It has a translation as well. I have included a pick of the american edition. As I suffer from chronic pain myself and I want to help others with chronic pain deal with it in my practice this is really an invaluable book. It is written by someone who shows understanding for the pain, he really gives you that feeling. And he really comes up with methods that are worthwhile and doable even if you have a lot of pain. He takes us serious, but at the same time urges to take action and not be a victim. That is the kind of approach tha
